Organic Farming

India is an agricultre based country; 75% of our country’s population is living in villages; Rice and wheat are our major crops apart from coconut, Banana, Tea, Coffee, Sugarcane etc., We Indians can be very proud to have been enjoying all the seasons equally every year.

Today, the agriculture scenario in our country is different; people who live in villages are sending their children to study in schools or colleges which are in towns and cities. Unfortunately people developed a thought that it is degrading for an educated person to work in agriculture is slowly dying in our country. There is shortage of people who involve in agriculture as all the people go for jobs. it is not a good sign for the country like india.
unfortunately we lose good and quality food and this younger generation is losing their fine health. How our elders in the past enjoyed a sound health, is not the same with our children today. they eat junk and unhygienic food and get their health spoiled.

Our children should know about space, moon, Nano Technology, Medicine, Life skills, Oratory and so many fields...., but certainly not at the cost of our country’s pride, agriculture. To give a strong message on it; good food, sound health, our school in a small way has taken a step to implement this organic farming and teach the values of it, with a great hope of making our children who are our country’s future, we have included this agrifarming into the main and regular syllabus in our school. Children are made to work on the field practically every week.

INFRASTRUCTURE

In this age of rapidly evolving science and technology. The Cambridge school
stays ahead of the curve by incorporating latest and high - end technology in
our classrooms and laboratories. this helps students and faculty make the best
use of aavailable resources and optimize learning through practical application.

Up - to - date computer systems and softwares to facilitate tecnological literacy and maximal efficiency installed in computer labs and staff rooms for student and faculty use respectively
Multiple science labs, including Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, and Biology Lab, furnished with the latest equipment and safety apparatus allowing students to experience and understand scientific concepts.

Academics

Research based learning is a form of active learning. in contrast to traditional
education wherin teachers own their knowledge on a subject, inquiry - based
learning prompts students to identify questions and issues and develop
knowledge and solutions through research and analysis.
Here, the teacher is a facilitator rather than a lecturer. Students feel much more invested in their own learning and develop the skills of independent tinking .critical analysis, team work and effective communication.

Sports

At Cambridge, we lay a strong emphasis on sports and physical development. our sports curriculum is planned and designed for students to develop and enhance skills like strength, speed, endurance, agility, flexibility, control, balance, etc.

We believe in mass participation, exposing, our students to a number of sports events at inter - school, state, national and international level. Every student is encouraged to join atleast one school sports team.

These health and nutrition issues are no longer limited to adults but have grown to be a huge concern for the children as well. These health problems if ignored, start triggering social and psychological problems, which immensely affects a child’s performance at school.
